About Me

My name is Dave Luntz, I live in Delta Junction, Alaska. I am the founder of the Central Alaska Militia.

The Central Alaska’s main mission is to advocate for peaceful, non-violent resistance in defense of our Constitutionally affirmed rights, yet be prepared to protect our families, and community and in the event circumstances call upon us, to defend our Constitution from enemies both Foreign or Domestic.

We are recruiting all able bodied volunteers who are at least 21 years of age and who live in Central Alaska, regardless, of race, religion, gender or creed.

There are other autonomous groups located throughout the state, if you are interested, I will get you in touch with the one that is closest to you. Ifyou are interested in starting your own group I can help you do that aswell.

You can find us on the web at: http://www.centralalaskamilitia and we have a Facebook page as well at: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000684863537&success=1#!/CentralAlaskaMilitia

I can't say I see anything that jumps out at me.  I tend to be more of an informal guy anyway, preferring like minded friends and neighbors without any sort of organization or documentation.

Thanks,

I checked yours out.  I knew Shaeffer Cox, and even helped him in the early days of his 2nd Amendment Task Force.  Though I understand the concept of a militia, and have written in advocacy of the idea, I have observed firsthand how a militia can go wrong.  I read your code of conduct and was reassured by some of the items that you disavow.

This site here is my effort, I don't have time to add anything to my plate by joining any additional group.  Having spent 25 years in the military was enough for me.

The day may come that I pick up my rifle in the defense of freedom, but not yet.  In the end, the last thing a man can do is die well, which is impossible from the kneeling position.  Until then, I'm going with Kipling regarding our constitution:

"Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools"

Until then I'm gathering hearts and minds.

IFFTR!,

Jon
