The White Rose (German: die Weiße Rose) was a non-violent/intellectual resistance group in Nazi Germany, consisting of students from the University of Munich and their philosophy professor. The group became known for an anonymous leaflet campaign, lasting from June 1942 until February 1943, that called for active opposition to dictator Adolf Hitler's National Socialist (Nazi) regime.

The six core members of the group were arrested by the Gestapo (German secret police) and they were executed by decapitation in 1943. The text of their sixth leaflet was smuggled by Helmuth James Graf von Moltke out of Germany through Scandinavia to the United Kingdom, and in July 1943 copies of it were dropped over Germany by Allied planes, retitled "The Manifesto of the Students of Munich."

The core of the White Rose comprised students from the University of Munich — Hans Scholl, Sophie Scholl, Alex Schmorell, Willi Graf, Christoph Probst, Traute Lafrenz, Katharina Schueddekopf, Lieselotte (Lilo) Berndl, Jurgen Wittenstein, Marie-Luise Jahn and Falk Harnack.

These brave German people resisted socialist tyranny with little hope of surviving, yet doing it anyway, and not accepting parole once they were caught, sealing their doom.

I find it shocking to note that many left-wing, socialist, and even communist sites on the web tout the white rose as student resisters of right-wing fascism in Germany. I must remind them the original user of the term "fascist" (actually "fascisti") was Benito Mussolini, a long time socialist, recognized by Lenin himself (according to Lenin's girlfriend). Further, Hitler was in fact a man of the left, and the leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party.

Read the language of the white rose flyers. They are full of religious references, moral law, individual freedom, God-given rights, and individualist philosophies. Everything the collectivist, eugenic, anti-religion, anti-family, anti-individual, race and class divisive, socialist/fabian/progressive/Marxist/Maoists currently "transforming" America and the world are not.

The white rose were "extremist" freedom-loving conservative individualists. The National Socialists called them "anti-government" and "crazy" too, and then killed them. Let's not let history repeat itself.

We must learn, and take courage from their peaceful, sacred, heroic, and selfless sacrifice.

WE MUST NOT ALLOW AMERICA TO SLIDE INTO A SOCIALIST DICTATORSHIP!
